DIGITAL ADDICTION SEMINAR HELD AT THE BANDIRMA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The Digital Addiction Seminar, organized by the Women Entrepreneurs Council of the Bandırma Chamber of Commerce, provided parents with valuable information on how to help children engage with the digital world in a safe, responsible, and balanced manner.

The seminar was delivered in two sessions by Ayşen Gündüz, Social Worker and Family Counselor, and Fatma Rabia Kara, Psychological Counselor and Family Counselor, both serving at the Bandırma Social Service Center under the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye.

The program covered the topics "Digital Health Literacy: Addiction Risks, Prevention Strategies, and Regaining Control" and "Strategies for Combating Technology Addiction." Participants received comprehensive information on the effects of digital addiction on children and families, healthy technology use, key issues parents should be aware of, and effective approaches to preventing and addressing technology addiction.

The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session.
