As part of the program, Chairman Çolak participated in a series of high-level meetings and business events held in Cairo and Alexandria.
Prior to the Business Forum, the Türkiye–Egypt Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Cooperation Forum was organized by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce. The forum focused on strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations and exploring new opportunities for cooperation. The meeting was attended by Salih Mutlu Şen, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Cairo; Ahmed Kouchouk, Egypt’s Minister of Finance (online); Ahmed Al Wakil, President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce; and business representatives from both countries. Discussions also included the development of Ro-Ro shipping services between Mersin–Alexandria and İskenderun–Damietta.
In his address, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of enhancing commercial, economic, industrial, and technological cooperation between Türkiye and Egypt, stating that both countries would continue to be among each other’s most important trade and industrial partners. During the forum, cooperation agreements were signed between TOBB, the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, and the participating chambers and commodity exchanges, covering sectors such as industry, trade, agriculture, fisheries, tourism, logistics, and construction.
As part of the Egypt program, the Türkiye–Egypt Third Countries Cooperation Meeting was also held. The meeting, attended by Ahmed Al Wakil, President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, Dr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary General, and their delegation, focused on evaluating joint investment and cooperation opportunities in third-country markets—particularly across Africa—and establishing a roadmap for future collaboration.
Representing the Bandırma Chamber of Commerce at these important events aimed at strengthening Türkiye–Egypt economic relations, Chairman Bahadır Çolak held a series of meetings and engagements on behalf of the Chamber and its members.
