Bandırma Chamber of Commerce on the Field for the Development of Its Members

The Bandırma Chamber of Commerce continues its member visits aimed at increasing the competitiveness of its members, contributing to the development processes of businesses, and strengthening university-industry collaboration.

The latest stop of the visits carried out within the scope of the cooperation protocol signed between the Bandırma Chamber of Commerce and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Technology Transfer Office (BANÜ TTO) was Hicri Ercili Deniz Nak. Kim. San ve Tic. A.Ş.

Chemical Industry and Logistics Activities Examined On-Site

Within the scope of company visits carried out in collaboration with the Bandırma Chamber of Commerce and BANÜ Technology Transfer Office, member businesses are visited on-site and their needs and expectations are directly evaluated.

During the visits, while providing information on the supports that can be offered to companies in many areas primarily R&D project consultancy, project development, reporting, corporate transformation, training, sustainability, and digitalization, the aims are to bring the academic knowledge accumulation of the university together with the business world and foster a culture of joint projects.

In the visit carried out within this scope, information was obtained regarding the production processes, fields of activity, and sectoral studies of Hicri Ercili Deniz Nak. Kim. San ve Tic. A.Ş., which operates in aluminum sulfate production, chemical substance production and marketing, warehousing, domestic and international logistics, maritime transportation, IBC tank production and sales, as well as cold storage and packaging. During the meeting, mutual evaluations were also made on the company's needs, areas of development, and potential joint works that could be carried out within the scope of university-industry collaboration.

The visit was attended by Hicri Ercili Deniz Nak. Kim. San ve Tic. A.Ş.  Plant Manager Nihat Dellal, Quality Manager Seray Yılmaz, Quality and Control Officer Aleyna Otçu, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Technology Transfer Office General Manager Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatice Batmantaş, Technology Transfer Office Vice Manager Lect. Fuat Berke Gül, and Bandırma Chamber of Commerce Project Coordinator Yağmur Sungur.

Concluding after a Q&A session and mutual exchange of ideas regarding the sector, the visit involved evaluations on the steps that can be taken to develop university-industry collaboration and potential joint projects that could be implemented in the future.

The Bandırma Chamber of Commerce continues its efforts to identify the needs of its members on-site, produce projects that will contribute to the development of businesses, and strengthen university-industry collaboration. In this context, member visits are planned to continue in the upcoming period with companies operating in different sectors.
