TÜBİTAK SCIENCE FAIR HELD AT RECEP GENCER VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL

Organized by Recep Gencer Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School under the TÜBİTAK Science Fairs Support Program, the TÜBİTAK Science Fair was attended by Bandırma District Governor Engin Aksakal, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, Balıkesir Provincial Director of National Education Selahattin Kal, Bandırma District Director of National Education Mutlu Aslan, BAGFAŞ Vice Chair of the Board İpek Seviye Gençer Yağcı, Bahadır Çolak, Chairman of the Board of the Bandırma Chamber of Commerce, and other protocol members.

During the event, Chairman Bahadır Çolak visited the exhibition stands, reviewed the projects prepared by the students, and met with the young participants.

In his remarks, Chairman Çolak emphasized the Chamber’s continued support for vocational education, stating:

“Within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Ministry of National Education, we provide equipment and material support to Recep Gencer Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which is designated as a project school. We also offer scholarships to its students. The projects presented by our students are outstanding examples of their creativity, productivity, and professional development. Their dedication and achievements make us proud.”

The fair showcased a wide range of science- and innovation-oriented projects, with students’ creative ideas attracting significant interest from visitors.
