SOUTH MARMARA TOURISM SEASON PREPARATION MEETING HELD

The South Marmara Tourism Season Preparation Meeting was held at Parmos Hotel under the leadership of Balıkesir Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu, with the participation of the District Governors of Bandırma, Erdek, and Gönen; the Deputy Secretary General of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality; the Mayors of Bandırma and Marmara Islands; the Acting Mayor of Erdek; Bahadır Çolak, Chairman of the Board of the Bandırma Chamber of Commerce; Sönmez Bekdemir, Vice Chairman of the Board; Hüseyin Uz, Chairman of the Board of the Erdek Chamber of Commerce; members of the Board, representatives of public institutions, and stakeholders from the tourism sector.

The meeting focused on the preparations being carried out across Balıkesir, particularly in the South Marmara region, to ensure that the tourism season is safe, well-organized, and productive.

Participants discussed security and public safety measures, ensuring public access to beaches and coastal areas, combating excessive pricing, and the actions to be taken to provide visitors to the region with the highest standard of hospitality and service throughout the tourism season.
