BANDIRMA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ASSEMBLY MEMBERS ATTEND THE ASSEMBLY MEMBERS' GATHERING HELD IN BALIKESİR

An Assembly Members' Gathering was held under the organization of the Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce and the Balıkesir Chamber of Industry, hosted by the Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce. The meeting brought together assembly members from the Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce, Balıkesir Chamber of Industry, Bandırma Chamber of Commerce, Bandırma Commodity Exchange, and Erdek Chamber of Commerce.

Organized to strengthen communication and cooperation among professional sectors, the meeting provided a platform to discuss ways of enhancing solidarity among businesspeople operating in the same industries, promoting a culture of collaboration, and developing partnerships that will contribute to regional development.

The program commenced with the opening remarks of Rahmi Kula, Chairman of the Board of the Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce, followed by speeches from the presidents of the participating chambers and exchanges. Assembly members then introduced themselves and shared information about their respective sectors.

Speaking during the program, Chairman of the Board of the Bandırma Chamber of Commerce, Bahadır Çolak, highlighted Bandırma’s strong production capacity in the fields of industry, logistics, agriculture, food, foreign trade, retail, and services. He emphasized that the Chamber continues to work towards enhancing the competitiveness of its members, expanding their export capacity, supporting their adaptation to digital and green transformation, and developing projects that strengthen the region’s investment environment.

Chairman Çolak also underlined that Balıkesir’s economic diversity and production potential represent significant assets, stressing that closer cooperation among the chambers and commodity exchanges operating across the province would make a substantial contribution to regional development.

Concluding his remarks with a message of unity and solidarity, Çolak stated:

“We are not competitors with one another. Our competition is with cities around the world that attract more investment and achieve higher export performance. I firmly believe that by acting together and working with a shared vision, we can unlock the full potential of our region.”

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views among the participants, followed by a commemorative group photograph.
