The Bandırma Chamber of Commerce and the BANÜ Technology Transfer Office continue their joint member visits aimed at identifying the development needs of members on-site and strengthening university-industry collaboration. The new stop of the visits was İtem Makina Hayvancılık İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti.

The Bandırma Chamber of Commerce continues its member visits carried out with the aim of developing the market position and competitiveness of its members, strengthening the value-added oriented growth potential of businesses, and increasing R&D, innovation, and technology development competencies.

In this context, through field visits carried out in cooperation with the Bandırma Chamber of Commerce and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Technology Transfer Office (BANÜ TTO), the sectoral needs, development targets, and expectations of member businesses are evaluated directly at the business site.

On-Site Analysis and Strategic Support for Member Businesses

During the visits, information is provided on supports that can be offered to companies, primarily R&D project consultancy, project development, reporting, corporate transformation, training, sustainability, and digitalization.

The visits also aim to transfer the academic knowledge accumulation of the university to the business world, develop joint projects tailored to the needs of businesses, and build a sustainable university-industry collaboration culture.

In this context, the fields of activity, production infrastructure, and sectoral competencies of İtem Makina Hayvancılık İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., which was visited, were comprehensively addressed. The current production potential and areas open to development of the company, which operates in different product groups such as slaughterhouse equipment, MDM parts, and gizzard machine, were evaluated on-site.

The visit was carried out with the participation of İtem Makina Hayvancılık İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. Company Official Harun Kırcıoğlu, Production Manager Hakan Tımrış, and Finance Manager Hakan Şen, alongside Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Technology Transfer Office General Manager Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatice Batmantaş, Technology Transfer Office Vice Manager Lect. Fuat Berke Gül, and Bandırma Chamber of Commerce Project Coordinator Yağmur Sungur.

During the meetings held, while evaluating the company's current activities, production processes, sectoral needs, and future development goals, views were exchanged on cooperation opportunities that can be established in the fields of R&D, innovation, digitalization, corporate development, and project development.

The Bandırma Chamber of Commerce resolutely continues its efforts to identify the needs of its members on-site, develop projects that will contribute to the development of businesses, and strengthen university-industry collaboration. In this context, member visits carried out within this scope are planned to continue with businesses operating in different sectors in the upcoming period.
